The Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a single thermistor (type of resistor whose resistance is strongly dependent on temperature) which provides a count output proportional to the external air temperature.
Unaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure and insect resistant
This XP95 heat detector features;
the standard device - classified as an A2S device and will report an alarm at 55°C. and,
the high temperature device - classified as a CS device, and will report an alarm at 90°C.
This heat detector shares the same dimensions and colour as the other XP95 range of products, allowing it to be used with the universal detector base which comes with the unique XPERT card and is used to configure the address of the detector.
