The carbon dioxide fire extinguisher or CO2 is a non-flammable gas and is commonly used strategically throughout Health and Aged Care Facilities, Food Handling, Food Processing facilities and where highly sensitive electrical equipment is present. When discharged, the contents are expelled as a gas removing the oxygen fuel source from the affected area.

After use, the contents evaporate, so there is no clean up, due to its low irritant contents making it ideal for the Health industry. There is less harm to the respiratory system of patients and residents alike.

Warranty

Our Portable Fire Extinguishers are guaranteed against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship for a of three years † from the date of purchase in non-aggressive environments from the manufacture date stamped on the cylinder. The warranty only applies when the fire extinguishers are installed to Australian Standard AS 2444 and serviced in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1851. † The three year warranty includes a replacement unit within the first 12 months from the date of order, followed by repair warranty for remaining two years (unless otherwise advised). Warranty excludes return freight.
