Conventional Heat Detector Change Over.
Ampac Series 65 heat detector is an ideal solution when replacing old or dirty detectors compatible with Ampac Fire Panels.
Internally, a pair of matched negative temperature coefficient thermistors are fitted. In a normal environment, each remains equal. If there is a sudden and quick rise in temperature, the resistance of the thermistors is less, activating an alarm.
Note: This rapid rise detector has preset factory settings, 50-65°C degrees Celcius
This feature determines the ‘rate of rise’ response of the detector.
