The Ampac Discovery MultiSensor detector (4106-2008) comprises dual optical smoke and heat detectors and is compatible with both the Firefinder and Firefinder Plus Fire Alarm Indicating Panels.
The MultiSensor technology combines the signal from the photoelectric sensing element and the heat detector through a sophisticated algorithm to improve false alarm management.
The detector also includes drift compensation to enable the detector to adapt in dusty environments to help reduce false alarms.
The discovery MultiSensor has five response characteristics (sensitivity settings) which can be set for each detector can be selected at the fire alarm control panel ("FACP").
The XP95 Discovery MultiSensor uses the 45681-210AMP base which incorporates the unique XPERT card and is used to configure the unique address of each detector.
